Year of the Horse

I told myself in the dying days of 2013 that for me, 2014 is going to be the year that I cleared out my closet. 2014 will be the year I wear only clothes I think worthy of wearing in New York, my favourite city in the world. After an extreme stint on online window shopping I told my mum that "2014 is going to be the year I start dressing like an adult", whatever the hell that means.

Yet, I rocked in the new year wearing a 4 year old t-shirt that I got second hand from a friend with some jeans, my dirty hair was tied in a top knot and I donned my geeky glasses so I could fully focus on the fan fiction I was reading (I probably should be more embarrassed about this).

Seven days of 2014 have now passed, and I've left the house only a few times (maybe 6 times actually). I wear my pyjamas until 5 o'clock most days when I realise that I'm being gross and I need to shower.

So my whole 'new year new fashion me' thing might have been a bit extreme and ridiculous, but I'm cool with that.

Change is a long process, but I hear its inevitable.

I guess my resolutions are to

a) be less of a hoarder        &
b) learn to ride a horse

Love to you in the universe.
